volkswagen holland have done a great little online piece here, the idea is basically a ‘faulty product recall’ asking people who own a ‘1974 VW Golf 1’ to get back in touch because there may be a problem with the dashboard glove compartment lock not working properly…

yesterday i started the new year by paying a visit to a bookbinders to see the book i’ve just designed roll off the press… it looked great
i’ve been working on it for the past month together with new advertising agnecy ‘dawn’ it’s for a new brand that is launching next monday called monday (in dutch = maandag) more news on that later this week…
on sunday my girlfriend femke, our friend fedua and i had our
picture taken (well made or constructed, i suppose) together by the lads from pips lab the star at the top was a lucky accident (my camera flashed at the end by mistake when i tried to make a photo…)
and this image just about sums up my wishes for next year:
2007 has been a very busy, chaotic, fun and interesting year for me… i’m looking forward to the coming year a lot for all kinds of reasons and i wish everybody a fantastic year make the most of it and try to enjoy everything (even the stuff that doesn’t make you happy)
a graphic designer i know gave me this copy of a dutch newspaper frontpage from the 21st of july 1969 (the dutch word for monday is moonday) great page and unusually well designed for ‘de telegraaf’ which is a terrible newspaper, at least these days…
