when i saw the image on the left hanging around town last week, i thought to myself: "that reminds me of anton beeke’s old posters for the ‘kunstrai’" (see below) then i saw the poster on the right and thought: "that reminds of the poster on the left, which reminds me of anton beeke’s posters for the kunstrai" (see below) confused?… me too
this is an artists’ impression of the new wing for the ‘stedelijk museum’ which will be re-opening at the end of ’09, although it reminds me of a very large tupperware box, i think it looks great & it will be an elegant addition to the existing building, we’ll see, building work is currently underway…

i already liked his ‘moose’ logo for minnesota zoo but i really love that great big 3D version shown here… his own website is also definitely worth a visit, the navigation is unusual and very appropriate to the subject matter
this ad in the newspaper (for a business management school) caught my eye, due to it’s tasteful use of white space, well executed illustration, the use of an unusual typeface (OCR B) and the high standard of the copy… very nice
i can’t exactly remember where is heard this, at a seminar last year i believe, but apparently the volume of information of the following sites doubles every:
google (i.e. the whole web) = 12 months
flickr = 8 months
you tube = 5 months
at least those were the statistics last year, i wonder whether the rate of growth has grown itself since then?
as for the ‘me studio’ site i’m not sure what the growth rate is exactly but it’s roughly three posts a day, which is more than enough to keep me busy…
