me studio will be (as of tomorrow) operating from two locations, the new office (pictured below) is called ‘kraanspoor’ and it’s an impressive looking glass tunnel, that’s been built on top of an old concrete crane foot in the harbour (amsterdam north near MTV europe)… the office belongs to my friends from dawn and we will be collaborating on various projects in the future, the post address is unchanged (see left) and if you intend to pop by for coffee or a chat give me a call, the location is so new it doesn’t yet appear on navigation systems… i will be open for business as usual from april 1st (no joke)

this beautiful image is one of my favourites from bianca pilet who has a show at the chique paris boutique colette

what i didn’t realise is that it’s part of a series she is making following a young dutch model (click on ‘news’ then ‘gallery’)

the duo fuchs’ large-scale prints of the east german ‘stasi’ interrogation rooms that still lie untouched after almost 20 years are enough to justify a visit to foam on their own and that’s precisely what i did today, however the series about heroin addicts in new york by ‘jessica dimmock’ i found even more touching, her work reminds me of ‘nan goldin’ in style and subject matter…

i attended the panl awards last night, wendelien daan didn’t win an award with the image we made for the ‘second life’ billboard last year, unfortunately…

although one of the students whose work i evaluated last year polle aubert did, as well as tara fallaux for the ‘calimucho’ series which we are working on together at the moment, congratulations to them both…
