the new UK coin designs announced this week, may seem pretty tame and old-fashioned to countries used to well designed currency (pre euro, that is) like switzerland and the netherlands… but even though they feature heraldry, there is actually a nice simple idea in there and i think they look pretty good (on screen at least) and are revolutionary for a country that is so conservative about it’s cash as the UK… blighty is slowly getting dragged into the 21st century…
this video for techno artist ‘matthew dear’ reminded me of the kaleidoscope video i mentionned earlier this week, are we in for a return to pyschedelia film effects? i hope so…

the photo book ‘maashaven’ which i designed for photographer ‘raymond waltjen’ has arrived back from the printers, i saw a copy this morning, it looks great, more news (and images) when i get some copies next week…
martin from andersen m contacted me yesterday about a new film they have just made for young british fashion designer ‘david david’ the film appears to be inspired by the kaleidoscopic effect in his clothes, very unusual… good to hear from you martin, speak soon!
