it’s been a while since i’ve seen a ‘beeke’ logo under a poster… this one’s made out of bits of cardboard collaged together (very nice close-up)

i got hold of this fabulous little pop-up alphabet book today, designed by ‘marion bataille’, i wrote about it seveal months ago and it wasn’t originally due to be published until late october, you can read more about it here and it (amazingly) costs a mere 15 euros (how did they manage that?) it’s a real little gem of a book…

i spent the day judging posters for the ‘dutch theater poster awards’ today in the ‘muziektheater’ in town, it was great to take part in the jury and fascinating to see a whole years worth of cultural posters all together…

we had some lively discussions about what constitutes a great (not good) poster and after much deliberation we finally chose the winner late this afternoon… we have been asked to keep quiet about the resluts (obviously) untill the awards ceremony, but the nominations should be online later this week more news to follow soon…

‘me studio’ got a mention on a norwegian design blog today, i’ll be honest: my norwegian isn’t very good… but i’m sure they said something nice?
