this might be old news, but not to me: whilst getting a fix of culture on TV this week i witnessed homer simpson confessing on behalf of his creator ‘matt groening’ that he’d hidden his monogram on the side of homer’s head… look carefully at the two letters on the side of homer’s big fat donut head…
has anybody got tips for similar hidden logos? i’d love to hear about them… send me a message (see address left) if you have suggestions… doh
BBC specialists are counting pixels and artefact irregularities in jpegs to determine wether the north koreans are fooling us… i also did my own scientific study of the image and concluded that wearing a low-hanging beige jacket isn’t very flattering for someone with such short legs…

the fact that polaroid film is disappearing forever has pretty big consequences for a great many photographers, two in particular in holland who are dealing with the loss are jasper zwartjes whose series for ‘toneelgroep amsterdam’ in particular relied heavily on the quality of polaroid film, he has timed the end of his realtionship with the client to coincide with the film’s demise… the second is marcel van der vlugt who has just made a series for the very last ‘dif’ magazine on the subject of polaroid and ‘the end’ which is the theme for the whole magazine, farewell polaroid…
