i often find it highly amusing to see the birth announcement cards graphic designers make for themselves (usually over the top and very expensive) just like mine… oh well… the card is a bit late and very over budget, but should be ready to post on monday, finally…
it has been printed in two pantone colours, on stiff card stock, with a laser cut die shape and pop-up letters (just to make things a bit more complicated) more images as soon as it’s ready…
the ‘volkskrant’ newspaper has fired a photographer for ‘manipulating’ news images, of course there are limits but this particular case seems a little over the top to me, more info here on photoq (dutch only)

one of me studio’s projects has been published in a new book on ‘color in graphics’ by new spanish publisher ‘mao mao’, some very nice work can be found in this well made book, although the cover is unbelievably dull…
