more new work just in time for the new year: i have completed a corporate identity for new film production company the suikerdepot which arrived back from the printers yesterday

the font created by me and my intern (dylan polak) earlier this year was made with sugar cubes and little bits of pink newspaper… it is used to spell all kinds of words and for initials on all of the business cards etc… more images can be seen in ‘me work’ very pleased with this one, i think it fits their ‘slightly quirky’ image as a production company very well, and so do they…

london agency big active have a lot of talent on their books (amongst others my mate ‘parra), but this illustration work was a new name for me, some wonderful 2 and 3d stuff in his ‘fresh’ portfolio

apparently finding old junk in the cupboard reminds people of me, well at least it did for my mate ‘ronnie besseling’ luckily, he found these fabulous old book covers by ‘dick bruna’ (the man behind ‘miffy’ the bunny) all dating back from the mid to late sixties in an old cupboard and brought them over… the purple one below already has that ‘miffy’ line style to it…

the ‘saint’ covers are also by bruna from the same period, the two ‘sagan’ covers are by someone else (stefan mesker: late fifties) but i thought they were worth a mention too, thanks mate…
