in the hague, yesterday we continued the CD box project, it’s coming along nicely… at some point during the day we encountered a problem when the supply of pixels ran out, which forced us to redesign the font (making it narrower) thereby giving us a new set of boxes (pixels) to complete the rest…

two teachers from the school ‘gert dumbar’ and visiting-lecturer ‘reza abedini’ popped by to see what all the fuss was about, during the afternoon, and gave us some approving nods… we are going to shoot the final piece later this week and try to make a small stop motion film, and if there’s time, complete the whole alphabet…

from the mid 70’s onwards, photogrpaher ‘thomas hoepker’ met and shot the elite of the NY art scene: de kooning, warhol, lichtenstein, johns, haring, christo and koons etc etc….
