interesting question and article here, apparently the people being shot also respond differently depending on the gender of the photographer too…

the latest ballet posters for the ‘four temperaments’ are hanging around town this week, there are four separate colour images and one combination poster (which i’m less happy with… to be honest)

whilst looking through an old book of mine on the italian ‘futurist’ movement today i came across this image made by ‘marinetti’ (or perhaps ‘fortunato depero’) in the 1920’s, you may be surprised to see how ‘inspired’ designer ‘peter saville’ was when he made the cover for new order’s first album entitled ‘movement’ back in 1981, although i believe that saville has never tried to hide the fact that he exactly copied this particular piece… well almost he did move one of the bars below to the right

really nice image for shiseido which i came across on the show studio homepage today, it isn’t credited but must be from the fabulous ‘nick knight’ like the motion piece accompanying it
