the latest in the ‘dingen’ children’s book series (nr. 3) entitled ‘j/m dingen’ (boys & girls things) has just arrived back from the printers
i’m really pleased with this one and it fits well into the ever expanding series, we are already discussing the next few titles..
photographer ‘maurice scheltens’ is doing a solo exhibition during ‘art amsterdam’ (their site appears to be ‘off air’ at the moment) via the ‘martin van zomeren’ gallery
my intern from last year ‘dylan polak’ recently completed his ‘stage verslag’ (internship report) and this is the result: dylan decided to make a booklet that folds out to reveal a large poster made using a photographic image showing all of the work we did together during his internship,
dylan laid it all out on a large colour background, with some smart perspective distortion (to reflect the nature of a few of the projects we worked on together) very nice… a bit late… but worth the wait1
meet ‘miss loisy’ she is the teenage daughter of a friend of mine (he’s the unfortunate guy wrapped in duct tape below) lois is, i believe, sixteen or seventeen years old and like most teenagers she explores her identity using a camera and dressing up
the difference being that she already has made an incredible volume of work in a wide range of styles… just have a look at her flickr sets for example, she apparently also has a following on internet and an upcoming photo exhibition, before she has even left school…
