the new york TDC are holding a ‘silent auction’ next week, not sure if it’s for members only but there are many that i like anyway…

Numbers are mighty powerful. But they can also make our eyes glaze over ? especially when the numbers are in the billions and trillions. To liven things up, the TDC has invited a group of ultra-talented designers (James Victore, Strange Attractors, Deb Bishop, Matteo Bologna, and Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich to name a few) to create a series of posters with numbers as their central theme.

i love some of these, las vegas and dutch tulip fields in a hurry… reminds me of peter saville’s ‘waste paintings’ from a few years ago

this UK type foundry who do a lot of custom font work, were new to me: dalton maag
