for a book project i worked on late last year i got hold of a large collection of old paper bags from dutch warehouse ‘HEMA’, which show a really interesting evolution in design from the kind of shapes and colours that were in fashion at certain times, but also logos… i’ll upload the whole series (which i photographed before returning them) later today, when i have more time…
note to self: stop posting too many stories about old stuff, it is hopelessly nostalgic and makes me sound very old…
